2017 Lima Conference — Infrastructure Needs in a New Climate Reality
Peru's president and prime minister will be among the speakers at the October 26 conference.
New York, October 24, 2017—The President of Peru Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Peru’s Prime Minister Mercedes Aráoz Fernández will deliver remarks at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas annual Latin American Cities Conference in Lima on Thursday, October 26, 8:30 a.m. Organized in partnership with Peru’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and with the leading theme "Infrastructure Needs in a New Climate Reality," the event will address the country's investment opportunities as well as the path to sustainable growth in light of new climate threats. The IMF Western Hemisphere Department Director Alejandro Werner will provide an overview of the economic outlook of Peru and the region at large. This event will be webcast live.
