Overview

Council of the Americas will hold a public, on-the-record panel discussion ahead of the official visit by President Dilma Rousseff to Washington, DC on June 29 and 30. This visit, which was originally scheduled for October 2013, marks the second trip by President Rousseff to Washington since her first inauguration in 2011.

Our panel will discuss the state of bilateral relations including anticipated outcomes for the visit, Brazil's domestic political and economic agenda, and prospects for future cooperation.
