AS/COA will host a discussion on Latin America's 2017 economic outlook with Alejandro Werner, director of the Western Hemisphere Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). With external factors such as low oil prices, higher interest rates, volatile exchange rates and a new administration taking office in the United States, the forecast for Latin America in 2017 remains uncertain. Werner will discuss the challenges and opportunities for economic growth in the hemisphere amid such unknowns.

- Alejandro Werner, Director, Western Hemisphere Department, International Monetary Fund
- Vivianne Rodrigues, Latin America Managing Editor, Economic and Political coverage, Bloomberg News (moderator) @Viv_Rod13
