The Trans-Pacific Partnership: What's at Stake for the Western Hemisphere?
Council of the Americas' Trade Advisory Group will hold a public program on the political and economic implications of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) for the Western Hemisphere.
Overview
Council of the Americas' Trade Advisory Group will hold a public program on the political and economic implications of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) for the Western Hemisphere. While frequently discussed in the context of trade and geopolitics in Asia, ongoing TPP negotiations also include four countries from the Americas besides the United States: Canada, Mexico, Peru, and Chile. This program will explore the potential commercial and strategic impact of the trade agreement on these countries and the broader region.
