2013 Latin American Cities Conferences Mexico City - Mexico: Opportunity and Growth

The April 16 conference will focus on Mexico’s global leadership, the North American energy landscape, and how can the country innovate in the areas of science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

New York, April 8, 2013 - Americas Society and Council of the Americas will host their annual Mexico City conference “Opportunity and Growth,” presented in partnership with Proméxico on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Scheduled to be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this conference will bring together senior public officials and private sector leaders in a conversation about Mexico’s emerging global leadership, the North American energy landscape, and how Mexico can innovate in the areas of science, technology, and the entrepreneurship program. “In his first four months in office, President Enrique Peña Nieto has built considerable momentum.  This is Mexico’s moment,” said Americas Society/Council of the Americas President and CEO Susan Segal. “We are delighted to host this conference in Mexico City at such a crucial time in the country’s history and when the world’s eyes are focused on so many opportunities in Mexico.”
