The chief engineering advisor for Panama City's Line 1 spoke about tailoring the new system from planning to expansion.
In AS/COA's new audio series Latin American Minute, the Chief Engineering Advisor for Panama City's Line 1 Project Augustín Arias talks about Central America's first subway system. Arias explained how Panama City inaugurated it's subway on time and on budget, why every subway is tailored to its city, and how the project will build a line over the Panama Canal. "When you design a metro, you have to look beyond the first line," he said.
