Tuesday, April 8, 10 am

Andariega Trio is back with "Cueca Víctor."

En Casa: Thamires Tannous

Wednesday, April 9, 10 am

Raised among the rivers and forests of Mato Grosso do Sul in central Brazil, Thamires Tannous developed a deep connection with nature, which is the main inspiration for her music. From childhood, she explored different instruments until discovering her true passion—her voice. Influenced by Brazilian, South American, and Arab musical traditions, she studied popular singing in São Paulo and jazz in France, later collaborating with Vincent Segal. Her albums, Canto para Aldebarã (2014), recipient of the Grão de Música Award, and Canto-correnteza (2019), featuring collaborations with BB Kramer and Chico César, reflect her multicultural heritage. Selected for the Making Tracks Music residency in 2021, she toured the United Kingdom.

Now living between São Paulo and Vienna, she continues creating, performing, and developing her unique sound. She has worked with Chico César, Almir Sater, and Ricardo Herz, performing worldwide. She is working on her third album, with recent singles featuring Carlos Malta and Momi Maiga.

From São Paulo, she sent us this video of "Grito," a song she wrote with Socorro Lima.

En Casa: Lucas Ávila & Fabiana Martínez

Thursday, April 10, 10 am

Lucas Ávila and Fabiana Martínez are back with "Fauna," a piece that intensifies the rhythmic pulse with primitive aerophones and electronic textures, creating a dialogue between the organic and the synthetic.
