Open Society Institute Awards Grant to Americas Quarterly

AS/COA is pleased to announce that the Open Society Institute awarded a grant to support the ongoing publication of Americas Quarterly—The Policy Journal for Our Hemisphere.

In August, the Soros Foundation's Open Society Institute awarded a $90,000 grant to support the ongoing publication of Americas Quarterly, the policy journal of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas.

Americas Quarterly—The Policy Journal for Our Hemisphere, targets the emerging class of business, political and civic leaders, young technocrats and immigrants in the Western Hemisphere. Americas Quarterly is dedicated to promoting and deepening policy analysis and debate on economics, finance, and politics in our hemisphere, specifically engaging a new leadership class under the age of 45. It seeks to provide a central forum to broaden the discussion of future policy alternatives, highlight specific reforms throughout the region, and allow for a new generation to have a voice in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
