Governor of Buenos Aires Province Daniel Scioli gave an overview of his region's role in the national economy, as the province represents 40 percent of Argentina’s GDP. He also shared his views on economic policy, noting that improving competitiveness and productivity are key for the country, as well as investing in human capital and natural resources.

Ahead of next year’s elections, Scioli said the true change in the country will be to not change everything and start over in terms of policy. Still, Argentina needs to break from its pendulum cycle, he said.
