Overview

Having overtaken the United States as Brazil’s largest trading partner in the spring of 2009, China has deepened its ties with the Latin American country through increased bilateral efforts in trade and investment opportunities. As emerging markets seek to redefine their roles in the economy amid widespread change and uncertainty, this relationship is particularly important to understand. Please join the Council of the Americas as we discuss this partnership and its implications for the future.

  • Claudia Trevisan, Correspondent, O Estado de S. Paulo
