Council of the Americas will hold a conversation as part of the Healthcare Series with Executive Vice President and Chief Patient Officer, Strategic Communications, Global Public Policy, and Population Health at Merck and former head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Julie L. Gerberding @MSDLatam.

In light of the intensifying COVID-19 pandemic, we will explore lessons learned from previous epidemics on the benefits of stronger health systems and discuss necessary investments and timely application to strengthen health systems across the Americas.
