COA Symposium: Environmental, Social, and Governance Standards as Drivers of Recovery
Leaders shared global and regional perspectives on the many ways in which ESG standards are influencing long-term business strategies.
Overview
As the world aims to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic and social impact, the private sector faces a crucial responsibility to contribute to the recovery process and to guarantee the wellbeing of both internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring business continuity. In this context, ESG factors have become more relevant than ever, influencing companies’ business strategies and impacting how external stakeholders and investors perceive them. Looking ahead, how is Latin America’s private sector assuming and implementing ESG strategies, and will these impact the region’s development and growth post-Covid?
