<a href="http://livestre.am/4Q4qn">Watch the second half of the program here.</a> <hr /> Celebrated Colombian author Juan Gabriel Vásquez and U.S. writer Jess Row will discuss Vásquez's acclaimed novel The Sound of Things Falling as well as his latest, Reputaciones, and other works of fiction. Vásquez received the 2012 English PEN Award and the 2011 Alfaguara Prize. Named one of Granta's "Best Young American Novelists" in 2007, Row is a promising young author whose short-story collection The Train to Lo Wu was shortlisted for a PEN/Hemingway Award in 2006. This program will be conducted in English. A book-signing will follow the program, in collaboration with Posman Books. We are proud to announce that Juan Gabriel Vásquez’s The Sound of Things Falling has been shortlisted for the prestigious IMPAC Dublin Award.
