The next edition of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas' #DemocracyDialogues will feature a conversation with Dr. Samantha Hoffman, Senior Analyst with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute Cyber Policy Center, on the challenges to Latin American democracy and national security enabled by rapid advances in technology in the hands of authoritarians both domestic and foreign. Dr. Hoffman is an expert on technology, democracy, human rights, and the usage and promotion of advanced tools for authoritarian purposes and ends.
