Energy Security in the Americas
Council of the Americas will hold an off-the-record conversation on regional energy security with the U.S. Department of Energy's Andrew Light.
Overview
In the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as well as Biden Administration's push for a cleaner energy transition, Council of the Americas hosts a discussion the important role of North America—and the Americas broadly—in the quest for global energy security with Andrew Light, the U.S. Department of Energy assistant secretary for International Affairs.
From Canada to Mexico to Trinidad and Tobago to South America, the Americas are energy-rich and have a vital role to play in addressing ongoing supply disruptions. This will be an outstanding opportunity to hear from and to engage with a key administration official on policy issues impacting every member company in the Americas.
