Americas Society presents Ecuadoran President Lenín Moreno with the Gold Insigne, the organization’s highest honor, in recognition of his extraordinary accomplishments as president of the Andean country and his transformative leadership throughout the region.

Americas Society’s Gold Insigne is awarded to democratically elected heads of state from the Western Hemisphere who work to promote greater awareness of the cultural, social, and political realities of the region, as well as increased understanding among the nations of the Americas.
