Member Webex: Health and Economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Latin America and Caribbean
Council of the Americas held a Webex on the trajectory of the pandemic in the region.
Overview
The first case of COVID-19 in Latin America was reported on February 26. Since then, many of the countries in the region are on lockdown and have taken a range of decisions to minimize the impacts and protect the most vulnerable. Council of the Americas held a Webex discussion on the trajectory of the health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 on Latin America.
