During the fifth Momenta Festival, celebrating the quartet's fifteenth anniversary, Music of the Americas will present two evenings of new music with these talented musicians and include world premieres by esteemed composers Matthew Greenbaum, Alvin Singleton, Roberto Sierra, and Christopher Stark.

Each evening of the Momenta Festival will honor a member's individual artistry and be overseen by a different member of the quartet.

Violinist, Emilie-Anne Gendron curates the second evening of the festival with the program Night Dances. She describes her program as "Dreamy and hallucinatory works inspired by or evocative of night music- contrasts of darkness and light, mysterious atmospheres and manipulations of time, extremes of character and emotion." This evening will feature the world premiere of Sierra's String Quartet No.3, written for and dedicated to Momenta. Also on the program is Ligeti's raucous and colorful String Quartet No. 1.
