Three experts will reflect on the challenges and accomplishments of NAFTA, based on their articles in the Winter issue of AQ.
Overview
Please join Americas Society/Council of the Americas and Americas Quarterly for a discussion with former President Ernesto Zedillo and Thomas “Mack” McLarty on “NAFTA at 20 and in 20,” based on their articles in the Winter Americas Quarterly. The two speakers will reflect on the challenges and accomplishments of NAFTA since it came into being 20 years ago and outline ways in which the North American Free Trade Agreement should be expanded and improved in the next 20 years in areas such as immigration, energy, infrastructure, and diplomacy.
