Americas Society/Council of the Americas will hold a conversation with José Miguel Vivanco, executive director for the Americas region at Human Rights Watch. Vivanco will share insights on the evolving humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and comment on the broader state of human rights across the Western Hemisphere—including recent developments in Mexico and Colombia, as well as the potential impact of U.S. policy changes on human rights throughout the region.
