Overview

Council of the Americas hosted a private, off-the-record briefing in Miami with Peruvian Foreign Minister Javier González-Olaechea. The minister provided an update on economic developments in his home country, as well as bilateral relations and trade with the United States. 

Minister González-Olaechea was joined by a newly appointed Peruvian delegation including Peru's Ambassador to the U.S. Alfredo Ferrero Diez Canseco and the Executive President of PromPeru Angelica Matsuda Matayoshi. They engaged in an exchange with private sector leaders that focused on strategic business opportunities and investment while highlighting the nation's potential as a hub of growth and innovation.
