AS/COA hosted an off-the-record virtual meeting with Marcos Cesar Pontes, minister of Science, Technology, and Innovations of Brazil. Pontes discussed the ministry’s R&D projects in the Amazon focused on biodiversity, climate, bioeconomy, and sustainable development. AS/COA members had an opportunity to ask questions and make comments following the presentation.
