Renewable Energy in the Americas in 2017
Council of the Americas will hold a conversation with Ethan Zindler, head of Americas for Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), and Alberto Levy, lead energy specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), on the outlook for renewable energies in the Western Hemisphere.
Overview
Globally, renewable energy investments have surged in recent years. Latin America, already with one of the cleanest energy systems in the world, and the Caribbean stand to gain from these developments.
