Overview
On March 11 in New York, Americas Society hosted a conversation about the rapidly evolving relationships between Latin American countries and the Trump administration. Subjects included U.S.-Mexico ties, the possible impact on trade and regional economies, policy toward Venezuela and Cuba, and how some governments in the region are reexamining their long-term strategic relationships with the U.S., Europe, and China.
