Venezuela: The Health and Migration Impact of COVID-19 and the Regional Response
Council of the Americas will hold an expert panel on the health and migration impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Venezuela.
Overview
The rapid global spread of the COVID-19 presents an even greater threat to Venezuela, whose health system is already collapsing. Neighboring countries have imposed a range of measures to mitigate the health risks to their populations, including mandatory quarantine, border closures, and limiting the movement of people domestically.
Council of the Americas will hold an expert panel discussion on the health and migration impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Venezuela and the regional response.
