Overview

Young Professionals of the Americas (YPA) will host a private tasting and conversation with renowned Colombian chef Juan Manuel Barrientos, creator and founder of ElCielo restaurants in Medellín, Bogotá, and Miami, at the first location in Washington, DC. Join us to learn more about Juanma’s fascinating entrepreneurial journey and his contributions towards “cooking peace” in Colombia through ElCielo Foundation.

Registration: $75 (does not include drinks or gratuity)

About Chef Juanma:

Juan Manuel Barrientos, age 33, has been recognized as one of the top 50 chefs in Latin America and ranks among the top five worldwide in terms of social media impact. His restaurants focus on sensory experiences and principles of neuroscience to present modern Colombian gastronomy. Juanma is a chef, entrepreneur, peace advocate, and founder of ElCielo restaurant chain in Medellín, Bogotá, Miami, and now Washington, DC.
