Inter-American Review

On view: through

On the occasion of Americas Society’s 60th anniversary, Peruvian artists Fernando Bryce (b. 1965) and Nicole Franchy (b. 1977) were invited to curate an intervention of Americas Society’s archives by selecting, commenting, and reinterpreting materials to highlight key moments of the institution's six decades of cultural programs.

Through their thought-provoking drawings and collages, techniques that define their usual art practices, the artists review and respond to our history, offering new interpretations and perspectives. This creative timeline is an ongoing project that will grow and develop as new layers of history are uncovered throughout the year of 2025.

The exhibition is curated by Fernando Bryce and Nicole Franchy, with exhibition coordination by Daniela Manrique.

Inter-American Review is being presented in Americas Society Library and Archives exhibition space from January 29 through December 13, 2025.
