The ruling Morena party dominated the elections, securing Mexico City, new governorships and likely supermajorities in Congress.

In Congress and gubernatorial races, Mexico saw “a dominant win by Morena that defied expectations,” says the AS/COA Online editor-in-chief.

"She will be governing more Spanish-speaking women than anywhere else in the world," says AS/COA Online editor-in-chief to the news outlet.
