Adriana Arai is managing editor for Latin America for Bloomberg News. She is also the chair of the Bloomberg LP Sao Paulo Office Committee, where she is responsible for news coverage from Bloomberg’s 10 bureaus in the region and for leading a management committee in São Paulo, Bloomberg’s business hub for Latin America. Prior to her current role, Adriana was Brazil bureau chief, Mexico bureau chief, and a general assignment reporter in Mexico City. She joined Bloomberg News in 2004. Before joining Bloomberg, Adriana worked in various editorial positions for Dow Jones Newswires in São Paulo, Brasilia and London, and she was a reporter for Brazilian financial daily Gazeta Mercantil in São Paulo. Adriana holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of São Paulo.
