Aitor Jauregui is Head of Latin America for BlackRock, responsible for all of the firm’s activities in the region. Mr. Jauregui's service with BlackRock dates back to 2011. Prior to his current role, he was the Country Manager of Iberia (Spain, Portugal and Andorra) and a member of the EMEA Executive Committee. Mr. Jauregui has held various leadership roles, including Head of Business Activity for the Iberia region.

Mr. Jauregui has extensive working experience covering asset management, investment banking and private banking. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Jauregui worked at EuroMTS, a leading fixed income electronic trading platform, as Head of Trading and was a member of the Executive Committee, living both in Spain and London. He started his professional career in 2002 as an investment manager at Safei.

Mr. Jauregui earned an executive MBA from IESE Business School and an undergraduate degree in law and business administration with a minor in economics from the University of Deusto.
