Alberto Franco
Alberto Franco is founder and consultant of Ecoanálisis, associate economist of the Central American Academy, and private consultant. Prior to this position, he was director for Costa Rica at the Inter-American Development Bank, the Inter-American Investment Corporation and the Multilateral Investment Fund in the U.S. He has been director of the Central Bank of Costa Rica, economic advisor to the president of the Republic Costa Rica, director of Financial Miravalles and financial analyst at Farmers Insurance Group Inc. in the United States. He holds a bachelor´s in economics from the University of Costa Rica and an MBA from Ohio State University.
Alberto Franco es socio fundador y consultor de Ecoanálisis, economista asociado de la Academia de Centroamérica, y consultor privado. Fue director por Costa Rica ante el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, la Corporación Interamericana de Inversiones y el Fondo Multilateral de Inversiones en Estados Unidos, director del Banco Central de Costa Rica, asesor económico de la presidencia de la República, director de Financiera Miravalles, y analista financiero de Farmers Insurance Group Inc. en Estados Unidos. Es bachiller en economía de la Universidad de Costa Rica y tiene una maestría de Ohio State University.
