Alberto Ñecco is the executive director for ProInversión. He has vast experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial management, and project management, both in Peru and abroad. Before assuming his current position, he worked as a special projects manager for the Retail Banking Collection at BCP. In 2001, he joined the Credicorp group and actively participated in the creation of Credicorp Capital, where he oversaw the purchase of leading investment banks in Colombia and Chile. Ñecco then become the first regional CFO of Credicorp Capital and later corporate development executive director. Between 2000 and 2006, he was an analyst at the local representation office of investment bank ING and associate in Consultoría A S.A.C. After completing his MBA, Ñecco became an associate in the Consumer & Retail group in the investment banking area of Deutsche Bank in London. He also worked as LATAM regional manager for the Clinton Foundation’s Access to Health Initiative. Ñecco holds a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Lima and master’s in business administration–management and business administration from INSEAD.
