Alberto Trejos
Alberto Trejos is a professor and dean at INCAE Business School and served as Costa Rica’s minister of foreign trade, and as chairman of CINDE (the Costa Rican Investment Board). Additionally, he is a director of South Africa’s Brenthurst Foundation, and the Arias Foundation for Peace and Democracy. He is a board member for several Costa Rican corporations, including BAC Credomatic banking group and the Cuestamoras Corporation. He has been a consultant for a variety of governments, international organizations and companies across over 50 countries in Latin America, Europe and Africa. Trejos received his doctoral degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a faculty member at Northwestern University, a visiting professor at the University of Michigan and research affiliate at Institut de Anàlisi Econòmica de Barcelona.
