Carolina Henriquez-Schmitz

Carolina Henriquez-Schmitz is regional lead and legal manager for the Americas at TrustLaw. She also leads TrustLaw’s Global Corporate Pro Bono Initiative and manages the development and publication of legal research and guides for the social sector. Previously, Henriquez-Schmitz worked in private practice at two leading international law firms, where she specialized in international dispute resolution, finance, and business and human rights. She was also a legal expert for the ABA Center for Human Rights, and worked as a legal intern at the World Bank in Venezuela and as a legal fellow for the Zambian Law Development Commission. Carolina is a qualified lawyer in the U.S. and Venezuela. She received a master’s degree from Harvard Law School, where she studied international development and finance, and holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela.
