Edgardo Pappacena
In his 40-year professional career, Mr. Pappacena worked in over 50 countries and held executive leadership roles at global, regional, and country levels, in addition to his client service activities.
He has advised executive teams of global and multinational companies in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia, in business strategy, business model innovation, digital transformation, geopolitical risk strategy, organizational strategy, and leadership development. He was PwC’s chief global strategist and a member of the firm’s global leadership team, responsible for global strategic positioning and alignment, strategic acquisitions, global brand strategy, and geopolitical risk management across 150+ countries worldwide.
As CEO of Cani Investments, he translates strategic trends into thematic investments in marketable securities, private markets, and technology startups. He is a board member of private and start-up companies and a strategic advisor to private equity and multinational firms. He is a professor of Strategy & International Business at Florida International University’s Graduate School of Business, where he teaches in the Executive MBA program and has won the Best Professor and Best Course awards for seven consecutive years.
Leveraging his first-hand experience as a global business and geopolitical strategist, his executive seminars focus on helping business leaders and investors think critically about the structural trends at the intersection of geopolitical, economic, and technological shifts and their impact on business strategies and investment decisions.
Mr. Pappacena holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Economics degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He has completed advanced specialization programs in global strategy, international economics, and global leadership at the Harvard Business School, the MIT Sloan School of Management, and the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute.
