Eduardo Campos is the governor of the state of Pernambuco. He previously served as a state deputy from 1991 through 1995. He also served as a federal deputy three times, serving from 1995 to 2007. He was appointed minister of science and technology in 2004. Campos is currently serving his second term as the governor of the state of Pernambuco and is president of the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB).
