Eduardo Rolim
Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Eduardo Bianchi Rolim is the LATAM & Canada Regional Information Security Executive of Bank of America, with experience in Technology, technological risks, and Information / Cyber Security since 2000, most of the time in the financial market. He is a member of the Global Information Security (GIS) Senior Leadership Team as well as regional executive teams and is responsible for ensuring that the priorities of the Information Security program are adapted to the regional and local risks of the Latin America countries, as well as for leading the implementation of the regulatory requirements related to Information Security in these places. Besides his main attributions, Eduardo was appointed as the Regional Market Leader for LATAM’s Global Operations and Technology areas, leading a diverse set of initiatives for a combined team of 640+. In addition, Eduardo is part of the global GIS Inclusion Committee, representing Latin America, in actions aimed at raising awareness and creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. Eduardo is also the reference contact of the GIS area for implementing actions in the region and is an allied member of the global Diversity Committee. Eduardo was selected as one of the 50 awardees in 2023 and 2024 for the HITEC Awards, which recognizes the most influential and notable Latino/Hispanic executives at the highest level for their accomplishments and impact in technology and cyber industry and that also contribute to the field and promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry. Before joining Bank of America, Eduardo worked in multinational companies such as AstraZeneca, Citibank, Santander, LATAM Airlines and Rabobank. Eduardo is fluent in English, Spanish and native in Portuguese. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, with emphasis in Strategic Planning from Mackenzie (Brazil), is post-graduated from FGV/CEAG (Brazil) in Business Administration with emphasis in Personal Skills, Administration and Operations, and holds one executive extension program from the UC Irvine, California and two from the MIT Sloan School of Management (Technology and Cybersecurity). He also holds the international certifications ITIL, and CRISC & CDPSE, from ISACA.
