Enrique Pérez Grovas
Enrique Pérez Grovas is partner in the Latin American Business Center at Ernst & Young. He is a Mexican public accountant with over 15 years of experience advising clients on international tax issues arising in Mexico and Latin America and was a partner at Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cia, S.C. before joining EY. Enrique is particularly active in the banking & capital markets industries, as well as in the energy sector. He advises clients on Latin American taxes related to acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, carve outs and joint ventures. Over the last years, Enrique has been advising GDF Suez, SunEdison, Everstream, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Grupo Casa Saba, QRI Group, Brinks, Grupo Acosta Verde, Grupo Salinas, among others. He has been a professor of taxes at the Universidad Iberoamericana and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Enrique is public accountant from the ITAM and received a Master’s in tax law from Universidad Panamericana.
