Fabian Gil
Fabian Gil became President of Dow in Latin America in January 2016, with the responsibility of developing and coordinating Dow's strategy in Brazil and Latin America. He began his career at Dow in 1992 as a sales representative at Dow AgroSciences. Three years later, he was appointed to the Marketing Manager position for the Southern Cone herbicide portfolio. In 2000, he moved to Indianapolis, Dow AgroSciences' global headquarters in the US, where he held the position of Marketing and Sales Leader for the Americas. From then on, he held various positions at Dow AgroSciences until becoming the President of Dow AgroSciences in Brazil in September 2009. In 2011 he was appointed Commercial VP of Packaging & Specialty Platics for Latin America, a position he held until becoming President of Latin America. Fabian Gil graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires in 1987 and holds an MBA in Business Administration from Universidad Austral de Buenos Aires in 1998. He has three daughters and a son and he’s based in São Paulo.
