Felipe Solá
National Congressman for the the Province of Buenos Aires
Felipe Solá serves as national congressman for the province of Buenos Aires since 2007. He previously served as governor of the province of Buenos Aires from 2002 to 2007. From 1999 to 2002, Solá served as vice governor of Buenos Aires under Governor Carlos Ruckauf administration. Prior to that, he served as secretary of agriculture under President Menem, from 1993 to 1998. In 1991, he was elected as national congressman. Before that, Solá was appointed secretary of agriculture, livestock and fishing in 1989. In 1987, he was appointed minister of agricultural affairs by Buenos Aires’s Governor Antonio Cafiero. Solá holds a degree in agronomy from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
