Fernando Alves
Fernando Alves is the president of PwC Brasil and vice chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Brazil (Amcham Brazil). He is a member of international forums of the PwC Network of companies, including the Global Strategy Council and Asia, Pacific & Americas Cluster Leadership Team. He was a member of the Global Board of the PwC Network of Companies and also worked/resided in several offices and markets in which the organization is present (Salvador, Vitória, Houston, New York, and São Paulo). Prior to his current duties, he was also a partner responsible for regional offices; partner in charge of strategic planning; senior partner in the audit and assurance area; member of the Regional Board of the PwC Network in South America and the Leadership Team of the PwC Network in the same region. He was vice president of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC); member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Official Chamber of Commerce in Brazil; of the Board of Directors of the Brazil-China Business Council; and the Board of Directors of the Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil (IBRACON). Former member of the Economic and Social Development Council of the Presidency of the Federative Republic of Brazil (CDES). Fernando holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, bachelor of science in accounting and MSc in business administration.
