Flávio Dino is minister of justice and public security. He was a federal deputy (2007-2011), governor of Maranhão for two terms (2015-2022) and held the presidency of the Interstate Consortium for Sustainable Development of the Legal Amazon (2021-2022). In the judiciary, he was a federal judge for 12 years, president of the Association of Federal Judges of Brazil (AJUFE) and secretary-general of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). He is a professor of Constitutional Law at the Federal University of Maranhão, currently licensed, and Master in Public Law (UFPE).
