Gabriela Michetti is a national deputy representing the province of Buenos Aires from the Propuesta Republicana Party (PRO) in the Argentine National Congress. She is the president of the Mercado Común del Sur (MERCOSUR) Committee and a member of the Social Action and Public Health Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Small Business Committee. Ms. Michetti served as deputy chief of staff for the city of Buenos Aires from 2007 to 2009. As a legislator in Buenos Aires from 2003 to 2007, she led the Bloque de Compromiso para el Cambio. Ms. Michetti has also worked at the Ministry of Economics and in the private sector as an international business consultant. She holds a Bachelor's degree in political science and international relations from the Universidad del Salvador and a Master's degree in business management from the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales.
