Gina Márquez
Gina Márquez graduated in business and marketing from TEC de Monterrey in Mexico City and obtained an alternative EMBA (PLD) from Harvard Business School focused in leadership.
She possesses several business certifications, including from L'École Supérieure de Commerce in France and from International Enterprise Singapore.
Since 2010, Gina has collaborated with recognized transnational companies, such as SIEMENS Singapore, The Nielsen Company in Mexico City, and Procter & Gamble in Latin America.
In 2012, she joined the Economic Trade & Investment Development Agency of the Mexican Government, formerly known as Pro México, where she assumed her first position in Santiago, Chile.
In 2014, Gina was named deputy trade commissioner for Pro México in Montreal, where she was promoted years later as head of the office responsible for the trade and investment accounts between Mexico and Eastern Canada. This included managing a project portfolio in 2018 of over $1.5 billion in investment projects and over $700 million in Mexican exports to the region.
In 2019, Gina joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico at the Embassy of Mexico in Ottawa, where she was responsible for the promotion of economic affairs between Mexico and Canada, specifically with leading the Canadian Pension Funds investment into the Mexican market.
Today, Gina is vice president of Strategy at Arch Staffing and Consulting, from where she leads efforts to strengthen global labor supply chains and the integration of the North American workforce. She is also COO of Join2Work, an HR Tech Venture powered by Arch, where she leads the fundraising and investor relations. Since 2022, Gina serves as brand ambassador of the Harvard Alumni of Entrepreneurs in Canada.
