Jaclyn Cahan
Jaclyn Cahan is the Chief of Cyber and Emergent Issues, FINCEN, U.S. Treasury Department
Ms. Cahan served as Counsel for the Foreign Affairs Committee where she managed the sanctions and illicit finance portfolio.
She previously served as Senior Counsel for Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (MA-08). In that role, she advised the Congressman on hisFinancial Services Committee work, where he served on the Terrorism and Illicit Finance Subcommittee. She also managed the Congressman’s work on the Anti-Terrorism and Proliferation Financing Task Force, which he Co-Chaired with Rep. Pete King (NY).
A native of Massachusetts, Ms. Cahan graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Florida, where she also received her master’s degree in International Business. She holds a J.D. with a certificate of specialization in International Law from the University of California at Berkeley.
