Jarlyth Hancock Gibson is director of Business Operations and risk officer at Advent. She has over twenty years of experience in various areas of the investment management business, ranging from developing a treasury function to managing a trading process to building a global compliance program. Ms. Hancock Gibson is currently responsible for supporting Advent’s business operations and risk management strategy as well as working with the management of Advent’s portfolio companies on their governance and risk management capabilities on a global basis. Before joining Advent, she worked for The Boston Company in the Mellon Private Asset Management – Endowments & Foundations group. Prior to The Boston Company, Ms. Hancock Gibson worked for H.C. Wainwright & Company, a Boston-based investment banking boutique. She received a BS in Accounting from Salem State College.
