Jim Brennan
Jim Brennan is a senior partner and managing director in the New York office of the Boston Consulting Group. Jim is the global leader of the Consumer Private Equity team—and has extensive experience in revenue management, go-to-market, and due diligence.
As part of his work, Jim often speaks at industry events such as the Consumer Brands Association, the Food Marketing Institute, the American Express Luxury Summit, and the Harvard Association for Law and Business.
Jim serves as a trustee and member of the Board of the American Academy in Rome, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center (where he is chair of the nominating committee). He also a member of the Board of Advisors of Diagonal Ventures, Herr Foods, Kourtney Kardashian's wellness company (Lemme, Inc.), and Just Goods (a consumer goods company where he is the lead independent director and Board Chair).
Prior to joining BCG, Jim was a senior advisor at the Carlyle Group, a partner at McKinsey & Company, and also served as a judicial clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals. Jim holds a JD from Harvard University and received a BA in Government from Dartmouth College. He lives in New York City with his wife Katie and their children, Jack, Charlotte, William and Eloise.
