Joan Viñals is managing director and partner at BCG, and leader of People & Organization practice area for North Latam. He is also a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and leader of Growth Tech for Spanish-speaking South America. 

With over 17 years of consulting experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the US, Joan has covered a broad range of topics including corporate and commercial strategy, startup build, and capital allocation for telecom and tech companies. Prior to joining BCG, Joan co-founded a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Mexico and held a principal position with Delta Partners. 

Joan holds an MBA from IESE Business School, and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
