João Ribeiro
João B. Ribeiro is vice president of global statutory accounting, currently leading about 260 team members located in 32 different countries around the world. In this role, he has the responsibility for ensuring that Dell Technologies is following local accounting rules in all jurisdictions where we do business. On top of that, João is also the Latin America Finance Council leader. João, has twelve years of experience at Dell Technologies and previously was the CFO for Dell EMC Brazil and for Latin America countries leading 180 employees in this region.
A native of Brazil, has 44 years of experience in the finance, accounting, and tax field, holds a bachelor's degree of accounting, from Universidade of Espirito Santo, Brazil, as well as postgraduate from Fundação Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo and Executive MBA from São Paulo Business School in partnership with Toronto University. He is acting as a finance executive since 2000 with focus on Latin America Region.
João is a strong advocate of Diversity & Inclusion being the executive sponsor for the ERGs True Ability (people with disability) and Black Networking Alliance (black and brown people). Before joining Dell, he occupied a variety of roles for retail, consumer electronics and technology industries; being the CFO for Philips Consumer Electronics for LatAm, HP Brazil and Itautec. João is an elected member of the Brazilian Finance Executives Institute (IBEF) Board of Directors, acting as first vice president.
