Joel Muñiz joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2002 where he leads the Consumer Practice and the Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice for Latin America Relevant BCG experience. Some of his case work in Latin America includes:
- Covid focused support for consumer and retail companies
- Demand driven growth and portfolio strategies for multiple industries and sectors across the region
- Digital strategies for food retail, department stores and travel agencies • Pricing strategies for packaged food, quick service restaurants and movie theaters
- Redefining commercial strategies to provide the correct go to market strategy, point of sale execution and marketing budget allocation for consumer durables, packaged food and drinks across all of Latin America
- Deep market and consumer understanding to define brand architecture for packaged food and personal service companies
- Transformation projects with major multinational and regional companies (Delayering, Post Merger Integration, RTM redesigns)

Joel studied Mechanical Engineering in Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico, holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM in Mexico and an MBA from The Wharton School.
